Moment Wise Learning Product License and Terms

License and Terms

Moment Wise Learning materials are sold under either a Single-Educator License or a School-Wide License. Your purchase gives you permission to use and adapt the materials within the scope of the license selected at checkout. It does not transfer ownership of the curriculum or its contents.

By purchasing, downloading, opening, or using Moment Wise Learning materials, you agree to the following terms.

Single-Educator License

The Single-Educator License is issued to one named educator.

You may:

Use the materials with students you personally teach, counsel, advise, or support.

Edit and adapt lesson content to meet the needs of those students.

Print or copy designated student materials for those students.

Present the slides and activities during in-person or virtual instruction.

Place materials in a password-protected learning system accessible only to your current students.

Keep a reasonable backup copy on a private device or secure personal account.

You may not:

Share the files with another educator, department, school, organization, or program, including colleagues at your school.

Place the files on a staff-wide or school-wide shared drive.

Transfer or reassign the license to another educator without written permission from Moment Wise Learning.

If a school purchases a Single-Educator License for an employee, that educator must be identified as the license holder.

School-Wide License

The School-Wide License covers educators and enrolled students at one named physical school campus.

The licensed school may:

Allow educators employed by or assigned to that campus to use the materials with enrolled students.

Edit and adapt lesson content for instructional use at the licensed campus.

Print or copy designated student materials for enrolled students.

Present the slides and activities during in-person or virtual instruction.

Place materials in password-protected learning systems limited to authorized staff and enrolled students.

Store working and backup copies on a secure internal drive accessible only to staff at the licensed campus.

The School-Wide License does not cover:

Other schools in the same district.

Separate campuses operated by the same organization.

District offices or district-wide distribution.

Charter networks, outside programs, or partner organizations.

Employees after they leave the licensed school.

Additional campuses require separate School-Wide Licenses. District-wide and organizational licenses must be arranged separately through Moment Wise Learning.

Terms That Apply to Both Licenses

Ownership

Moment Wise Learning retains all copyrights and ownership rights in the original materials. Purchasing a license grants permission to use the materials; it does not transfer ownership.

Editing the Materials

You may edit and adapt the materials for licensed instructional use. Permitted edits do not give you ownership of the original materials or permission to sell, publish, redistribute, or commercially use the edited version.

Reproducible Student Materials

Designated student worksheets, activities, and handouts may be printed or distributed to students covered by the purchased license.

Editable source files, teacher guides, answer keys, and presentation files may not be distributed to students, parents, or anyone outside the licensed use.

Prohibited Uses

Under either license, you may not:

Sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, or give away the materials.

Rebrand the materials or present them as your own work.

Remove copyright, trademark, credit, or licensing information.

Use the materials, scenarios, layouts, graphics, or adaptations to create another commercial product or service.

Upload the files to a public website, public resource library, social media platform, unrestricted learning system, or openly accessible shared drive.

Share editable source files with anyone not authorized by the purchased license.

Use automated extraction, scraping, or artificial intelligence systems to reproduce the materials or develop competing commercial products.

File Storage and Security

License holders are responsible for taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access or sharing.

Materials should be stored only on private devices, restricted school systems, or secure learning platforms permitted by the purchased license. If unauthorized sharing is discovered, access should be removed promptly and Moment Wise Learning should be notified.

Term and Termination

The license continues for the version purchased as long as these terms are followed.

Moment Wise Learning may terminate a license after a material breach of these terms. If a license is terminated, the license holder must stop using the materials and delete or destroy all copies under their control.

Updates and Support

Your purchase includes the files and access described on the product page at the time of purchase.

Future editions, new courses, major revisions, services, training, and ongoing support are not included unless the product description specifically states otherwise.

Educational Responsibility

Educators and schools are responsible for reviewing the materials and determining whether they are appropriate for their students, setting, policies, and applicable requirements.

Moment Wise Learning materials are educational resources and do not replace professional, clinical, legal, or emergency services.

Copyright Enforcement

Unauthorized copying, sharing, rebranding, resale, redistribution, or public posting may violate these terms and applicable copyright or trademark law.

Moment Wise Learning may request removal of unauthorized content, terminate access, and pursue other available remedies.
